Verdampfer modifications in Alexandria (Deng SQ200)
Verdampfer advice for Alexandria, covering modifications, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
The Alexandria market for verdampfer has grown steadily, and the choice on offer now is genuinely broad. Charging over USB-C takes about 92 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
Finding the right verdampfer in Alexandria is easier than most catalogues make it sound. The 1.6 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem.
What surprised us most was how little the 1.5 Ω regular coil changes the draw character compared with the 20:80 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Lilac Mist finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the magnetic contact takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below.
In Alexandria, availability of the 1.5 Ω regular coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The standard bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 20:80 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.
Pricing in Alexandria shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current EGP rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the AEKU Slim is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. The 1.6 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem.
Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Vapour production is more than adequate at 25, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 20:80 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Charging over USB-C takes about 92 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the USB-C socket on the base and whether the 1.5 Ω regular coil is the newer generation.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Watermelon Chill: sweet, juicy, described as watermelon with a clean cooling exhale. On a 20:80 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.5 Ω regular mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Alexandria
Availability in Alexandria is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.5 Ω regular and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the magnetic contact matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and EGP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Availability shifts often, so check the current listing before committing to a large order.
