Verdampfer in Alexandria: the complete 2025 guide (800 mAh)

Verdampfer advice for Alexandria, covering support, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.

Most Alexandria buyers start with a well-known brand name and then discover that fit and coil availability matter far more. The narrow bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips.

There is no single best verdampfer for everyone in Alexandria, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.

Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 1.5 Ω regular mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense.

The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 1.5 Ω regular coil changes the draw character compared with the 35:65 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Rose Quartz finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.

Charging over Type-C fast charge takes about 58 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the Type-C fast charge socket on the base and whether the 1.5 Ω regular coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the Suorin Air Plus earns its keep: the 2500 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 150 and recharges over Type-C fast charge.

For loyal customers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 35:65 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.

Vapour production is more than adequate at 150, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Worth noting that the magnetic contact takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.

The build quality on Suorin Air Plus is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. The Rose Quartz finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.

Flavour and performance notes

A representative profile is Raspberry Lemonade: sweet, tart, described as summer lemonade with a raspberry accent. On a 35:65 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.5 Ω regular mark before the coil begins to mute it.

Practical considerations in Alexandria

Availability in Alexandria is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.5 Ω regular and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the magnetic contact matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and EGP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.

If any of the above addresses what you were trying to solve, the rest of the pages in this section cover it in more detail.
