Where to buy Verdampfer in Alexandria (Strawberry Cream)
Verdampfer advice for Alexandria, covering servicing, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
We spent weeks putting verdampfer options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.
We spent weeks putting verdampfer options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
Delivery across Alexandria is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The build quality on IQOS III is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.
The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 40:60 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Lilac Mist finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.
Pricing in Alexandria shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current EGP rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the IQOS III is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 150, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.2 Ω dual mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. In Alexandria, availability of the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself.
Battery behaviour is where the IQOS III earns its keep: the 2500 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 150 and recharges over Micro-USB. We would pair the IQOS III with a 40:60 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Strawberry Cream: creamy, sweet, described as smooth strawberry custard with a light dairy note. On a 40:60 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.2 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Alexandria
Availability in Alexandria is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.2 Ω dual mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and EGP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Our advice is to order one, use it for a fortnight, and only then decide whether to stock up.
