Verdampfer steeping in Alexandria, Disposable (90 W)
Verdampfer advice for Alexandria, covering steeping, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Anyone who has compared verdampfer options in Alexandria quickly learns that specification lists only tell part of the story. Worth noting that the Q-Plus takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below.
We spent weeks putting verdampfer options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. Charging over USB-C takes about 65 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
The 1.6 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 1630 full puffs from a charge at 10 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing. Delivery across Alexandria is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window.
What surprised us most was how little the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 35:65 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Graphite finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the Q-Plus takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below.
The build quality on Vaporesso Tarot is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over USB-C takes about 65 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
Vapour production is more than adequate at 60, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Passion Fruit Guava: tropical, tangy, described as tropical duo with a sour-sweet balance. On a 35:65 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.15 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Alexandria
Availability in Alexandria is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.15 Ω dual mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the Q-Plus matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and EGP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Our advice is to order one, use it for a fortnight, and only then decide whether to stock up.
