Budget Verdampfer picks under 20 in Alexandria (65 W)
Verdampfer advice for Alexandria, covering versus, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Search results for verdampfer in Alexandria are crowded, which is why this page focuses on what actually changes the experience. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 20:80 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.
Anyone who has compared verdampfer options in Alexandria quickly learns that specification lists only tell part of the story. What surprised us most was how little the 0.6 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 20:80 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
Battery behaviour is where the RELX Pro earns its keep: the 4000 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 50 and recharges over Micro-USB. We would pair the RELX Pro with a 20:80 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.6 Ω mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.
Worth noting that the 510 thread takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For value hunters, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month.
The build quality on RELX Pro is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Micro-USB takes about 71 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
Comparing this against a 20:80 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 3.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 1174 full puffs from a charge at 3 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Blue Raspberry Frost: sweet, tangy, described as sharp blue raspberry with a long cold finish. On a 20:80 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.6 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Alexandria
Availability in Alexandria is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.6 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and EGP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
