Verdampfer buying guide for Alexandria (Kiwi Lime)
Verdampfer advice for Alexandria, covering coil life, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
There is no single best verdampfer for everyone in Alexandria, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 80:20 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.
Budget matters in Alexandria, but with verdampfer the cheapest option is rarely the one that lasts. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.
The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 80:20 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Alexandria shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current EGP rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the Kanger K2 is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank.
Replacement coils are widely available, and the 1.5 Ω regular coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. Two things to check before ordering: the Type-C fast charge socket on the base and whether the 1.5 Ω regular coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the Kanger K2 earns its keep: the 2000 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 90 and recharges over Type-C fast charge. We would pair the Kanger K2 with a 80:20 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably.
The build quality on Kanger K2 is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. What surprised us most was how little the 1.5 Ω regular coil changes the draw character compared with the 80:20 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Rose Quartz finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Cola Zero: sweet, fizzy, described as cola sweetness with a light fizz. On a 80:20 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.5 Ω regular mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Alexandria
Availability in Alexandria is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.5 Ω regular and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and EGP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Availability shifts often, so check the current listing before committing to a large order.
