Verdampfer reviews: tested in Alexandria (6.5 ml)
Verdampfer advice for Alexandria, covering coil life, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Local availability in Alexandria shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Pricing in Alexandria shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current EGP rates rather than a fixed list price.
Anyone who has compared verdampfer options in Alexandria quickly learns that specification lists only tell part of the story. Battery behaviour is where the Beipu B2 earns its keep: the 1200 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 100 and recharges over Type-C fast charge.
Comparing this against a 35:65 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 5.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 835 full puffs from a charge at 20 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.
The Sunset Orange finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the 510 thread takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For long-session users, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.
The build quality on Beipu B2 is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Type-C fast charge takes about 50 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
The wide bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Two things to check before ordering: the Type-C fast charge socket on the base and whether the 0.8 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation. For long-session users, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Raspberry Lemonade: sweet, tart, described as summer lemonade with a raspberry accent. On a 35:65 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.8 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Alexandria
Availability in Alexandria is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.8 Ω mesh and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and EGP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Take the time to get it right the first time; the difference shows up over months of use rather than days.
